Males stole money and keys from white van in Grouville
28/08/2010
We are appealing for any witnesses to an incident that occurred in the area of La Rue A Don, Grouville at about 03:00am on Saturday 28th August 2010.

Two or three males have entered a white van and taken approximately £10 in change and 4 keys from the dashboard.

Brown TOMAC mountain bike stolen in St Helier
19/07/2010
We are appealing for any persons that may have witnessed the theft of a brown “TOMAC” mountain bike valued at approximately £1200 that was stolen from a property in Rodney Avenue, St Helier between 21:45 on 18th July 2010 and 05:30hrs on 19th July 2010.

The bike is described as being distinctive as the handle bars on the bike are orange and it also has one yellow peddle and a plastic white seat and slick tyres.

Sentimental bracelet with seal pendants stolen from St Brelade carboot sale

We are appealing for witnesses who may have information in relation to an incident whereby a chunky gold Bracelet with 2 gold Jersey Seal pendants have been stolen from a car boot sale at ST BRELADES Social Club on the 6th June.

These items of jewellery are unique and very recognisable and are of substantial sentimental value to the owner.

Between Sunday 4th July 2010 and Saturday 10th July 2010 a white bicycle was stolen from a garage in DAVID PLACE, ST. HELIER.

The bicycle was a white SCOTT HYBRID SPORTSTER PI 2010.

A residential property in Sussex Gardens, Clarence Road, St. Helier was broken into during the daytime on Wednesday 30th June 2010.

A number of items were taken from this address, these items include:

*a white Nintendo Wii

*a number of Nintendo hand held controllers and games.

Bag stolen by man on push bike in Byron Rd area
27/06/2010
We are appealing for witnesses to a larceny of a bag in the area of Byron Road and St Marks Road, St Helier on Sunday 27th June 2010 at approximately 23:25 hours.

The victim was on her way home when an unknown male riding a push bike approached her from behind and he snatched the bag off her.

The suspect is described as a white male, stocky build, short light brown hair, wearing a light coloured striped T-shirt and dark trousers.

Large Stool and Cushion stolen from garden between Beaumont and Bel Royal
22/06/2010
Between 01.00am and 08.00am on Tuesday 22nd June, persons unknown have removed a large wicker footstool and cushion from a garden of house bordering the cycle track/ promenade between Beaumont and Bel Royal.

The stool is approximately 4'0 x 3'0 and teardrop shaped. It is of heavy construction and would have taken two to lift. The cushion stool is approx 4" thick and light brown. A green square cushion approx. 2' x 2' was also taken. Approx. value £1000.

'Love seat' bench stolen from courtyard in St Marks Rd
20/06/2010
A £300 "love seat" bench was taken from a private courtyard in St Marks Road, St Helier between 00:30 hours and 08:00 hours on Sunday 20th June.

The bench is described as being made of teak wood, it has two large seats which are joined in the middle by a small table. It is approximately 6' in length and would require a minimum of two people to move.

Items stolen from cars in Patriotic st car park
18/06/2010
Between Thursday 17th and Friday 18th June 2010, a number of vehicles have been broken into on the 3rd, 4th and 5th floor of Patriotic Street car park.

Various items have been stolen from the vehicles. A garden strimmer and several books of pay cards have been stolen from the vehicles.

£3,000 worth of cigarettes stolen from New North Quay
17/06/2010
A break in occurred at a shop on the New North Quay between 02.00 and 02.30 hours on Thursday 17th June. More than three thousand pounds worth of cigarettes of several different brands were stolen, along with a quantity of cash.

A suspect was seen leaving the area riding a black BMX pedal cycle and is described as being a young white male, who was wearing a black beanie hat, black clothing, and had a black backpack on his back. He had several bright blue plastic carrier bags hanging from the handle bars of the bicycle. The suspect rode off through Liberation Square, up Conway street onto New Street.

We would like to speak to anyone who may have seen this male leaving the scene. The Police would particularly like to speak to an older male dressed all in black, pushing a pedal cycle, who was in the area at 02.40 hours, as he is thought to have walked alongside the suspect as they crossed the road to walk up Conway Street.

Black Yamaha outboard stolen from boat in field in St Saviour

Between 21st May & 11th June 2010 a Black Yamaha 6hp outboard engine was stolen from a boat that was in a field off LA RUE DE CHAMP COLIN, St Saviour.

The engine which is black in colour is a two stroke engine worth aprox £700. Also stolen was a 45ltr fuel tank which was subsequently found near Queens Valley reservoir.

Boats at La Rocque harbour have petrol and fuel containers stolen
29/05/2010
Between 18:00hrs on Thursday 27th May and 13:00hrs on Saturday 29th May 2010 a number of boats moored in La Rocque harbour have been entered and a large quantity of petrol in marine fuel containers has been stolen. At this time Police are investigating complaints from at least 6 boat owners who have had either damage caused and/or fuel tanks stolen.

Most of the stolen fuel is marine petrol which is often dyed blue in colour, the most distinctive fuel tanks stolen were two orange ‘Plastimo’ 54ltr tanks which had their own fuel gauge. So far the damage and loss of property is in excess of £700.

Alsaka Boat found adrift with fishing rods missing
24/05/2010
Between 22:00 on 23rd May 2010 and 06:00 on 24 May 2010 an Alaska 500 boat registration JY808 called Puffin either came adrift or was moved from its moorings at Green Island. This was discovered adrift near Green Island and reported to the Police at 05:44 24/05/10.

Three fishing rods and reels are missing from the boat and they are worth approximately £200.

RAM 'freeride' green and yellow bike stolen - see image
05/04/2010
Three pedal cycles were taken from a premise in St Lawrence between Sunday 4th - Monday 5th April. The bikes are very distinctive. The first bike is described as follows:

RAM "Freeride" 9 Geared specialised down hill racing bike (17" frame), with unique yellow and green colours. It has full suspension with white front forks, black seat and black handlebars. The hand grips are also green. This bike is unique to Jersey and any sightings should be reported.

White 'Rufus' stunt bike stolen - see image

Three pedal cycles were taken from a premise in St Lawrence on Sunday 4th-Monday 5th April. Two of the bikes are described as follows:

- A white 15" frame LAST "Rufus" stunt bike, with a white snow camouflage effect seat, black brakes, handlebars, and a grey and black rear tyre. This bike is single geared. This bike is unique to Jersey and any sightings should be reported.

- A grey Ridgeback "Storm" mountain bike.

Theft from vehicle in St Marks road
23/02/2010
We are appealing to any members of the public who may have any information regarding a theft from a vehicle whilst it was parked on St Marks Road in St Helier in the area of St Marks Church.

The nearside front window of the vehicle was smashed and a red and white wallet was taken from inside. The incident is believed to have taken place during the times of 19:30 and 23:15 hours on Tuesday, 23rd February 2010.

Laptops stolen from property on Raleigh Avenue

Between approximately 03:00hrs and 10:00hrs on Thursday 4th February 2010, a property on Raleigh Lane, St.Helier was broken into through the rear door.

Two laptops and a modem were taken. Total value of items taken amounts to approximately £1500.

Theft of items from boats at Gorey harbour
01/02/2010
Theft of items from Gorey Harbour; Overnight on Sunday 31st January 2010 and Monday 1st February 2010 various items were removed from a boat moored at Gorey Harbour.

Those items include:

a 2008 Excel Dinghy

a 2000 2.2 hp outboard motor

a VHF radio

a GPS system and compass.

During the months of December 2009 - January 2010, a red boat tender with two orange patches on the back with "TT LE GAMBLER" on them, registration number JY458 was taken from the rack at Gorey Pier.

3 rings and 2 Seiko watches stolen at break in at Maufant home
01/12/2009
We are appealing for witnesses to a break and entry to a house on the main St Martins road in Maufant. Between 9am and 3pm on Tuesday December 1st entry was gained via the front door after a pane of glass in the door which was smashed.

Jewellery, which consisted of 3 rings and 2 Seiko watches valued at £500.00 were taken.

Money stolen from Coombe Bookmakers on Great Union Road
28/11/2009
At approximately 5.40pm on Saturday 28th November two males entered Coombe Bookmakers on Great Union Road. One of these males is believed to have snatched £400 from behind the counter whilst the member of staff was distracted. Moments later the two males ran from the area.

The first male is described as 5'4 tall, slim build, short hair and spoke with a Scottish accent. The second male was round 5'8 tall, slim build wearing a tracksuit and a bandana round his head.

It is stressed that no force was used when the money was taken from the premises.

6 vehicles damaged and items stolen
22/11/2009
Six vehicles were targeted by having their windows smashed overnight on Sunday 22nd November. Items of property were stolen from within several vehicles, such as:

A black Dell laptop and carry case was removed from the boot of a vehicle parked up in the car park at Robin Hood junction.

A black and silver IPOD touch was stolen from a vehicle parked in Midvale road

A grey IPOD was also stolen from a vehicle in Museum Street

A black leather Quicksilver wallet was stolen from a vehicle parked at a private premise in St Lawrence.

A Red ford Fiesta parked in Drury lane was also damaged but had nothing taken from inside. There have also been similar incidents reported in First Tower, Grands Vaux and St Saviour Road areas.

Enquiries are continuing and vehicle owners are reminded to ensure that items of value are not left in unattended vehicles, or if they are, to ensure they are hidden from view.

Between the hours of 11:30pm 18th November 2009 and 7:30am 19th November 2009, Person or persons unknown smashed the passenger near side window of a vehicle in the La Pouquelaye area of St Helier. Items were taken from the vehicle which is a silver/grey Mini.

Items stolen are:

A Light Brown "MULBERRY" box type Hand bag (with a flap over clasp and short handles)

A small green leather "O'NEILL" wrap round purse

£60.00 in store vouchers for Surf Dive and Ski

1x Pink I-POD

Break and entry on property in Londgfield avenue
30/10/2009
Between 6:00pm and 10:00pm on 30th October 2009, a property on Longfield Avenue in St.Brelade was broken in to. Items to the value of £7,000 were taken and included:

a black 46" JVC LCD Television, a white Mac Book with charger,

a black Nikkon D80 SLR Camera,

an 18ct gold heavily engraved pocket watch (picture attached)

a Breitling Navagameter 806 wrist watch.

The cars in the driveway were also entered and an ipod mini and ipod accessories were taken. if anyone recognises any of the above property, and has information or has been offerd it for sale, they are asked to contact us and give information anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Blue and red monkey bike - owner to claim
25/10/2009
Two youths were arrested in relation to a suspected stolen blue and red Monkey Bike (this is a motorcycle). This relates to an incident during the evening of Sunday 25th October 2009, in the Westmount Road area.

It is also believed that a group of youths had been riding the same motorcycle in the car park at Haute Vallee School that same afternoon.

We are appealing for the owner of the motorcycle to come forward as it is believed to have been stolen. The Monkey Bike is very distinctive, as the frame is blue, the front and rear mud guards have been sprayed red and the seat has been covered with white tape.

Illegal entry at Greve D'Azette apartment where golf clubs were stolen.
14/10/2009
Between 5pm on Friday 9th October 2009 and 9:15am on Wednseday 14th October, an illegal entry occurred in an underground car park, at a block of apartments along La Greve D'Azette where seven golf clubs were taken.

Unknown persons had entered the underground car park and had taken seven Galloway Big Bertha Golf Clubs, leaving the remaining clubs in the golf bag. They are valued approximately £500.00. The following Galloway Big Bertha Golf Clubs were taken:

a driver, 5 wood, a rescue club, 4,5,7 and 8 iron.

Cream Granite Statues stolen from outside Lyndhurst Hotel
06/10/2009
Two cream coloured granite statues, approximately 2ft hight, were taken from the front of the Lyndhurst Hotel on La Route De La Haule, St Brelade. They were taken sometime between 10pm on Monday 5th October and 9am on Tuesday 6th October.

The statues are called 'Three Graces' and depict an image of three ladies holding one another. The statues are worth approximately £100 each.

Two bikes stolen from 1st floor of John Wesley Appartments, Cannon St.
01/10/2009
We are appealing for witnesses to the theft of two bicycles (valued at £2600) from the first floor of John Wesley Apartments in Cannon Street. The bikes were taken sometime between 23:00pm on Wednesday 30th September and 05:00am on Thursday 1st October.

One of the bikes is very distinctive, being a full suspension black and white Saracen mountain bike with large tyres that has been hand built by the owner.

The other bike is a grey Mongoose mountain bike with red suspension forks.

Engineering tools stolen from site in St Saviours Rd

Between 16:15pm on Friday 25th September 2009 and 11:30am on Saturday 26th September 2009 someone broke into a store with engineering tools located in a basement on a building site of the old REX Hotel in ST. SAVIOUR'S ROAD (opposite MAYFAIR HOTEL) and stole a number of valuable engineering tools including heavy equipment.

We are appealing for witnesses to the theft of a blue 125cc Yamaha DT motorcycle from the rear of BAS DU MONTS flats on Pier road. The bike was taken sometime between 22:00pm on Thursday 24th September and 07:30am on Friday 25th September.

A daylight break and entry occured on La Route Orange sometime during Tuesday 22nd September 2009. The items taken are as follows:

2x black HP Pavilliion laptops

1x black Samsung NC10 laptop

1x Pink FINEPIX Z20 camera in a pink case

2x nintendo DS (one white one red)

2x PSP's

1x Silver I-pod Nano

1x Black I-pod Touch

£10 in loose change

Grey Zodiac Cadet Fast Roller dinghy stolen from Little ST Catherines slipway
18/09/2009
Between Sunday 13th September and Friday 18th September a grey Zodiac Cadet Fast Roller dinghy valued at £850 has been taken from the slipway at Little St Catherines (by the Lifeboat station) where it had been left secured.

The Zodiac is in very good condition and is clearly identifiable as it is marked with "Tender of Jakamima" in large permanent marker. The inside of the boat is also marked with brightly coloured stencilling of hot air balloons and bright stripes.

Blue bicycle stolen from Rozel campsite

A blue butcher's style pedal cycle has been removed from Rozel campsite sometime over the weekend on 5/6th September. It is distinctive in that it has a plate with site name across the front handlebar.

Lobsters and crabs stolen from holding pot near Elizabeth castle

Between 14:00 on Wednesday 2nd of September and 13:00 Friday 4th September 2009.

Person/persons unknown have stolen approximately 180Kg of live crab and 18Kg of live lobster from a holding pot at the rear of Elizabeth castle. The Shell fish were branded.

We would like to hear from anyone who may have been offered any Crabs or Lobsters from unlicenced fishermen recently. Pleas call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111

3 surfboads stolen from roof rack in St Martin

At approximately 23:30pm on Thursday 20th August, 3 surfboards were stolen from the roof rack of a vehicle which was parked in the driveway of a premises on La Route de La Cote, St Martin.

One of the surfboards is described as being a Retro Twin Fish, wide board 5'2" in length and is green and white in colour with a blue and yellow material cover.

The second board is a Rip Curl, 7'2" in lengthand is faded white, with Rip Curl written in red letters on the board. It has a silver padded cover with the words 'Island Style' written on the outside.

The third is a Nigel Simmons board and is 7'2" in length and is light blue and purple with a burgundy coloured cover with Rhino written on the front.

Ply dinghy stolen from St Brelades slip
15/08/2009
Between 17th July and 15th August 2009, an 8ft Seahopper marine ply dinghy was taken from the slipway next to St Brelade's church.

It is described as having a bright yellow band all around it and has a flat front and back. It is very unusual as it folds into four parts and the back is wider than the front.

Swatch ring and wedding ring stolen in break and entry

In a break and entry in St Saviour, between 23:30 on Friday 7th August and 17:00 on Saturday 8th august several items were stolen including a SWATCH ring and White gold wedding ring encrusted with 32 diamonds on the top, valued at £2000. (No picture currently available for the wedding ring)
